Commit Bear provides AI-powered analysis and enhancement tools for GitHub pull requests, including:

  • Automated code analysis and prompt compliance checking
  • Security vulnerability detection and license scanning
  • AI-generated improvement suggestions and fix prompts
  • Automated deployment and setup instruction generation
  • Plain-language summaries of code changes

3. User Accounts and Registration

To use our services, you must:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction)
  • Have the authority to bind your organization (if applicable)

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use our services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You may not:

  • Use the service to analyze code you don't have permission to access
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or hack our services
  • Use the service to generate, store, or transmit malicious code
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Interfere with or disrupt our services or servers
  • Use the service for competitive analysis or to build competing products

5. GitHub Integration

Our service integrates with GitHub through their official API and GitHub Apps platform. By using our service:

  • You grant us permission to access your GitHub repositories as specified during installation
  • You remain responsible for managing permissions and access to your repositories
  • You acknowledge that GitHub's terms of service also apply to your use of their platform
  • You understand that our service depends on GitHub's availability and API access

6. Intellectual Property

Your Content

You retain all rights to your source code and repository content. We do not claim ownership of your code or intellectual property.

Our Service

Commit Bear and its technology, including our AI models, analysis algorithms, and generated reports, are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our technology.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of your information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.

8. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service, but we cannot guarantee 100% uptime. Our service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

  • Scheduled maintenance and updates
  • Technical issues or system failures
  • Third-party service dependencies (including GitHub)
  • Force majeure events beyond our control

9. Billing and Payments

For paid services:

  • Fees are charged in advance on a monthly or annual basis
  • All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
  • We may change pricing with 30 days' notice
  • Failure to pay may result in service suspension
  • You're responsible for all taxes and fees

10. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time:

  • You may cancel your account at any time through our dashboard
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these terms
  • Upon termination, your access to the service will cease
  • We will delete your data according to our Privacy Policy

11. Disclaimers

Our service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We disclaim all warranties, including:

  • Accuracy or completeness of AI-generated analysis
  • Detection of all security vulnerabilities or issues
  • Compatibility with all code or development practices
  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Commit Bear shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Delaware.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through our service. Continued use of our service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
